Veterinarian / Owner
Dr. Mike Dyer
Dr. Dyer received his DVM from the Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine. He resides with his wife, Vallery, and two children, Naaman and Ann-Michal on a 200 acre farm in Getaway, OH. They raise beef cattle and enjoy hunting, fishing and camping. Dr. Dyer also enjoys woodworking as a hobby. Dr. Dyer’s area of interest in veterinary medicine is surgery, especially orthopedics.
Veterinarians
Dr. Erin Bradley
Dr. Bradley happily joined the PAC family in February 2019. She was born and raised in the state of
Delaware. She has always had an interest in animals. She grew up showing Paint and Quarter horses on the east coast. She took animal science classes in high school and then went on to earn a B.S. in Animal and Poultry Sciences, with a minor in Biology from Virginia Tech in 2006. She graduated from Oklahoma State University in 2010 with her D.V.M. Dr. Bradley has been practicing in West Virginia since graduating, where she lives with her husband, two daughters, three dogs and two cats. In her spare time, she enjoys the outdoors, photography and watching the Hokies play football.
Dr. Hannah Finney
Dr. Finney was born and raised in Huntington, and completed her undergraduate degree in Animal and Nutritional Sciences with a minor in Equine Science from WVU. She received her DVM degree from Mississippi State University in 2021. Her special interests include ophthalmology and neurology, soft tissue surgery, ultrasound, and feline medicine. She lives in Huntington with her husband and their assortment of creatures, and enjoys riding horses, roller skating, camping, and kayaking.
Dr. Leslie Starnes
Starnes is a West Virginia native, originally hailing from Montgomery. She pursued pre-veterinary education at Marshall University where she ran track and cross country. After graduating from Marshall in 2013, Starnes graduated from Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2017. She also completed a dual degree Master of Public Health through the University of Minnesota during this time.

A variety of experiences from primate health, shelter medicine and mission work have given Starnes a unique perspective into public health and how it is interwoven into private practice. She specifically enjoys zoonotic disease prevention, internal medicine and promoting the human-animal bond. She is motivated in this profession by serving others.
Starnes and her husband, Peter, reside in Huntington with their daughter Louisa. They have 3 dearly loved pets, Fern, Gauley, and Junipurr. They are expecting a second baby in December 2021. In their free time they enjoy running, biking, and finding adventure out-of-doors.
Dr. Naaman Dyer
Dr. Naaman Dyer, the son of Dr. Mike Dyer, is a 2021 graduate of The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine. He graduated from Marshall University with a degree in biology. His journey of becoming a veterinarian started when he began his summer job with us in 2011 and also working on animals with his dad on their farm. His interests are primarily in small animal soft tissue surgery. He plans to further his education and learn the techniques of orthopedic surgery and ultrasonography. In his spare time, Naaman enjoys playing music/songwriting, hunting, fishing, snowboarding, kayaking, and traveling.
Dr. Kara Cobun
Dr. Kara Cobun originates from Tunnelton, West Virginia. She studied at West Virginia State University and went to Mississippi State University. She has a special interest in Reptiles!

Dr. Amber Mullins
Dr. Amber Mullins received her DVM from VA-MD Regional College of Veterinary Medicine in 2005. She has worked in mixed animal, emergency and relief veterinary medicine. Her special interests are soft tissue surgery, pain-control (including acupuncture) and emergency medicine. Dr. Mullins has volunteered many times doing surgeries on working horses and street dogs in Mexico’s Guatemala. She enjoys hiking, reading, teaching others about the bible, and spending time with her horses, dogs and cats. Dr. Mullins especially loves the natural beauty and opportunities for outdoor adventures in this area. She had always been active in 4-H and Pony Club – competing in eventing and equitation.
Office Manager
Tabitha Evans, RVT
Tabby has been with PAC since 2004. She graduated from Morehead State University with a degree in Veterinary Technology and is a licensed technician. She has worked in the veterinary field for 30 + years. At home she has dogs, cats, chickens, and two guinea pigs. Tabby and her husband, Fred have two kids, Mackenzie and Max.
Assistant to the Office Manager
Zella Mae
Zella Mae came to live with us in January 2022. She lived with Dr. Naaman for the last several years and decided she needed a career change. She can be found lounging about in our drive-thru area or in Tabby’s office. Zella takes her assistant duties very seriously.
Assistant to the Assistant Office Manager
Bug
Bug is one of our Assistants to the Assistant Office Manager. Bug takes his assistant duties very seriously as he resides in his Mojo Dojo Casa House, nicely located in his Memaw's Office. Bug loves spending time playing in his Memaw's office with his fellow Assistant to the Assistant Office Manager, Bean.
Bean
Bean is our other Assistant to the Assistant Office Manager. Bean takes her assistant duties very seriously as she resides in Bean's Dreamhouse. Bean loves spending time with her boss, Zella Mae and her partner in crime Bug.
Reception
Debi Campbell- Receptionist Supervisor
Debi has worked at PAC since July 2009. She is happily married to Michael. Along with their five children, they have one dog, Marco, and six cats, Blanche, Sophia, Elvira, Dorothy, and George.
Jonnie Beckett
Jonnie has been with PAC since 2005. She attended Morehead State University’s Veterinary Technician program. At home, she has 2 dogs, Sweet Pea and Pixie. She is married to Donald and has a daughter named Emily. In her spare time she loves to read, go to car shows, ride motorcycles, and spend time in the Smokey Mountains relaxing. Jonnie is also known as “Sissy Jo” to a lot of great nieces and nephews, whom she loves to spend time with.
Nicole Dingess
Nicole has been with PAC since 2016. She graduated from Fairland High School in 2013. Nicole loves all animals, but cats have her heart. At home she has 9 cats and 5 ferrets. Nicole is heavily involved with pet rescue and is very passionate about finding all animals their furever home.
Samantha Adkins
Samantha is a graduate from Mountwest Community and Technical College with a degree in Veterinary Technology. She joined our PAC reception team in 2016. At home she has two cats, five dogs, and a horse. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends whenever she has a chance..
Kelsey Kinzel
Kelsey has been with PAC since the Fall of 2021. She is the mother of three dogs; Piglet, Aurora, and Apollo; and five cats; Kiara, Pumpkin, Dobby, Wexley, and Wednesday. Kelsey has had a life long passion for taking care of animals. Through fostering, rescuing, or raising a host of dogs, cats, guinea pigs, bunnies, raccons, and more over the past decade, her commitment to providing care for fur babies led to her joining our PAC crew. Residing in Lincoln County, West Virginia with her boyfriend Cody, she enjoys riding dirt bikes, going to sporting events, concerts, and spending as much time as possible with her furry children.
Baylee Saunders
​Baylee has been with PAC since 2023. She is from Chesapeake, Ohio. She has several pets including cats, dogs, and chickens. She is a graduate of Chesapeake High School and completed the Vet Science Program at Collins Career and Technical Center. She has always had a love for animals. In her spare time she loves to read books and play outside with her dogs.
Melissa Smith
Melissa has been with PAC since the summer of 2022. She is a native of Kentucky but moved to Ohio after graduating high school. When not working at PAC she loves to spend time at home with her fiance Kevin, enjoying a good book, listening to music or spoiling her fur babies. She has two dogs named Zeke and Remi, as well as three cats named Zoe, Patches, and Boomer.
Veterinary Technicians
Allison Callicoat
Allison has been with PAC since the spring of 2015. She is a Registered Veterinary Technician. Allison has worked in the kennel, reception, as an assistant, and in 2022 she graduated from MCTC's Veterinary Technician program. She has a love for surgery, specifically dentistry. In her spare time she enjoys traveling and adventuring with her fiance and son. At home Allison has a Chiweenie named Bean, a Beagle named Fred, and cat named Uncle Tony, and a Beareded Dragon named Princess Pickles.
Caitllyn Childers, RVT
Caitlyn has been with PAC since 2014. She is a recent graduate from the Veterinary Technician Program at Mount west Community and Technical College. She has a total of 5 fur children. In her spare time, she enjoys camping, fishing and playing with her dogs.
Destinee Elkins
Destinee was born and raised in South Point, Ohio. She started working at PAC during her senior year of high school (2014). Destinee graduated from South Point High School and Collins Career Center in 2015. She then attended Mountwest Community and Technical College where she graduated with a degree in Veterinary Technology in 2019. Destinee then passed her Veterinary Technician National Exam. In December 2019 she left PAC to work at Texas A&M as an ICU technician. She was there for 7 months and then ended up moving back to the area and returning to PAC. Destinee is married with one son, 2 dogs (Mufasa & Cinnamon), and 3 cats (Sarabi, Rafiki, and Lola).
Emily Setser
Emily joined the PAC team in February of 2019. She is a West Virginia native with a BA in studio art and a passion for animal science and medicine. Emily lives in Barboursville with her dog, Toby, and her cat, Shuffles. She enjoys reading, spending time outdoors, and binge watching tv series. Emily is a 2021 graduate of the Mountwest Veterinary Technology Program.
Jessica West
Jess joined the PAC family in June of 2021. She is a WV native, growing up in rural Ritchie County. She currently resides in Chesapeake, Ohio. She has two dogs; a Belgian Malinois and a Brussels Griffon; as well as two cats. She is a recent graduate of Mountwest Community and Technical College. She has always wanted to work with animals and had a special intrest in animal medicine early on in life. She believes that it is very rewarding to see them be healed after a long hosptial stays and to watch the little ones grow from puppies to adults. She is also very active in Protection Canine Training, also known as IGP.
Laura Wagner, Lab/Tech Supervisor
Laura has been working at PAC since March 2006 and in the veterinary field since July 2001. She has a B.S. in Zoology from Marshall University. At home, along with her husband Josh, she has two children- Jonas and Keegan. In addition she has several fuzzy family members; 2 dogs and 1 cat. In her spare time she loves being outdoors and spending time with her family. She is a Fear Free certified professional and is very passionate about making each pet’s experience as positive as it can be.
Lena Bond
Lena is a graduate of the Veterinary Technician Institute at Bradford School in Columbus, Ohio. She has been with PAC since 2011. At home she has 4 cats- Ava, Mr. Banks, Esteban, and Tyberius. Lena is a Fear-Free Certified professional. Her areas of interest include lab procedures and feline medicine.
Megan Callicoat, RVT
Megan is one of our RVT’s here at Proctorville Animal Clinic. She graduated in 2019 from the Mountwest Veterinary Technology Program and has been with PAC since 2010. Megan has a special interest in critical care nursing and you will often find her in our hospitalized area. She also is a part-time tutor for Mountwest’s Vet Tech program. She uses her experiences in practice to inspire and nurture the next generation of veterinary technicians. In her spare time she enjoys cooking, baking, gardening, and getting her family outdoors.
Reagan Broughton
Reagan has always had a deep love for animals and joined the PAC family in 2019 to continue her passion in helping animals of all shapes and sizes. She not only loves creating a relationship with her patients but their humans as well. Her areas of interest are emergency medicine, client education and of course those exciting 1st puppy visits. Along with her service dog who’s her best pal, Kitt (right) and her little “chicken nugget” Jaxx (left) they enjoy daily evening trips to the dog park, spending time with loved ones and relaxing on their days off.
Alexis Marietta
Alexis joined the PAC team in March 2022. She has been in Vet Med since 2017. After she graduated from Carver Career Center in 2020, she did specialty emergency med in Pittsburgh. In her free time she loves to swim and to go hiking with her chihuahua, Piglett. She also has a Frenchie, “Stella” and a cat, “Piper”.

Cheryl Robertson
Cheryl has been working at PAC since October 2013. Along with her husband, Doug, she has three dogs, In the past Cheryl has owned a whitetail deer farm for fifteen years. She has been a country girl all of her life. In her spare time she enjoys the outdoors, traveling, riding her Harley, and fishing.
Haley Lester- Kennel Supervisor
Haley joined the PAC team in May 2021. She graduated from Collins Career Center Vet Science in 2021. In her spare time she likes to fish, go camping, and riding her 4-wheeler with her bulldog Bugsy.
Laykin Hayes
My name is Laykin Hayes, and I started at PAC in the spring of 2021. I graduated from Collins Career Center as a high school student from the veterinary science program, and am an undecided science major at Ohio University Southern. My hobbies include reading, playing video games, being outdoors, photography, and spending time with animals. I have a shih-t-zu named Chloe who rules the house and a beta fish named Crow. I absolutely adore the scientific and medical aspect of wildlife conservation, and I would love to incorporate that into my career of caring for animals. I am full of all kinds of random wildlife facts.

Lily Cochran
Hi! My name is Lily Cochran. I have worked as an assistant and kennel staff at PAC for a year. I recently graduated from Symmes Valley High School and am continuing my education at Ashland Community and Technical College majoring in Nursing. I have grew up around animals my whole life and love working with them. I have 3 fur babies total Bear, Goldy, and one of which is my own named Bee and she is my absolute best friend along with 12 goats and 21 chickens. In my free time I love to read and hunt. I have learned so much in my time here and absolutely love working with all your babies
Kiley Wallace
Hiii everyone, my name is Kiley and I’ve been at PAC for several years now and I absolutely love it here. I am a junior attending the Vet Tech Program at Morehead State University. I have always loved animals and enjoy working in the animal field and taking care of your alls fur babies!! I myself have 5 animals and they are all my pride and joys :), including 3 dogs (two German Shepherds and one Siberian Husky) and 2 Calico Cats.
Andrew Lewis- Assistant/Trainer
Andrew utilizes his training methods based on the most up-to-date scientific methods. His education includes dog psychology and behavior through Karen Pryor Academy (KPA), Animal Behavior College (ABC), which he now mentors for, as well as New Skills Academy (NSA). His career started after college, training dogs for the CIA in San Antonio, Texas for four years. Since then, he has co-contracted and created curriculums for other training services. He has honed his skills working with animals for the past twelve years. Andrew’s hobbies include working with his dogs and working on upcoming dog sports. He is also currently working on publishing a book on behavior modification.
Delaney Kirk
Delaney has been with PAC since the winter of 2023. She was born and raised in Barboursville West Virginia. Delaney has always enjoyed helping animals and has volunteered for the Huntington Cabell Wayne Animal Shelter off and on since she was ten years old. delaney has goals of becoming an RVT in the next few years and she is also one of our biggest Pitbull/Bully Breed Advocates. Delaney has two meatheads of her own named Sam and Kash. She enjoys volunteering, being outdoors, painting and being with family and firends in her off days. Delaney is always there with a helping hand for your fur babies.
Mackenzie Lemaster

Sam Webster
Sam has been with PAC since 2023. He is a recent graduate of Marshall University with a degree in anthropology. He intends to continue his education in the future with the goal of applying to vetrenairy school. His father is a vetrenarian. He has grown up with the lifelong love of animals. He currently has two dogs and three hermit crabs. He enjoys reading, studying wildlife and playing video games with friends.
Lily Banford
Lily has been with PAC since the summer of 2024. She is from Huntington West Virginia and attends the University of Kentucky, studying Agriculture. She loves to volunteer athe the Lexington Humane Society and has loved animals her whole life. She is currently considering Vet School and has grown to be very passionate about Vet Med. She has a Great Dane, Hound Mix name Zeke whom is the love of her lifem and since starting here is has gained a kitten anmed Piper.
Kristen Perkins
Kristen has been at PAC since the summer of 2024. She graduated from West Virginia University in 2017 with a degree in Animal and Nutritional Science. Since then she has worked in both and emergency clinic and a cat-only clince in Morgantown, West Virginia. She currently resides in Huntington, West Virginia with her husband, their dog Nyx and cat Pixel. In her spare time Kristen loves hiking and kayaking.
Grooming Staff
Garret Roberts
Garrett has been at PAC since 2022. You may have seen him in the reception area but he has now taken on the role of our Groomer. A few things about him are that he loves traveling, playing Dungeons and Dragons with friends, and spending time with his family. He currently has five dogs and two cats, whom he absolutely loves and adores. His favorite part of being a groomer is working with all of your animals and meeting your grooming needs.

Kaylee Smith Kennel/Assistant
Kaylee has been with PAC since the summer of 2023. She is from South Point, Ohio. She is a recent graduate of Collins Career and Technical Center. Kaylee has two dogs that she loves dearly. She has always had a love for helping animals and just loves them in general very much. A fun fact about her is that she greatly loves to read.

Angela Stapleton Kennel/Assistant
Angela has been with PAC since the summer of 2022/ She is a graduate of the Vet Science Program at Collins Career and Technical Center. She plans to attend Marshall University and take part in the Pre-Vet Program there. SHe grew up on a small farm where she always put her animals' health and happiness forst. She is a very big cat lover. She has one fur baby named Grey. In her free time she draws, studies animal behavior and hunts.

Makayla Stapleton
Makayla has been with PAC since the summer of 2024. She currently resides in Chesapeake. Makayla is a recent graduate of Collins Career and Technical Center. She currently has two dogs, and a cat. In her down time you can find Makayla with a brush in hand making beautiful art pieces.

Hannah
Hannah was the official PAC greeter and front desk paperweight. Hannah came to PAC in 1999. Her hobbies included hanging out with the PAC family, both two-legged or four-legged.
Alex
Alex was the reigning boss around here from 2016 til 2021. He came to us after a long career as Dr. Dyer’s farm cat and decided he should retire here where he could use his many talents daily.
